Replacement Rapport OnlineIn today’s post, Alan is going away from the standard authority post.  Instead, he asks a lot of questions that are related to networking and interacting with other online entrepreneurs.

I think this is an important read because you CAN’T run an Internet business without building relationships.  So read through Alan’s article and leave your thoughts in the comments section below…

If you’ll permit me I will not be writing a very ‘authoritative’ post here, rather I’d like to explore something with you – the idea of rapport.

Well, not so much rapport, more the lack of it – or at least the question of whether it’s there or not. Online. [click to continue…]

Niche Affliate Income SeriesIt’s been almost 2 months since I’ve talked about my niche affiliate income series.

Much has happened during this time.  I’ve shifted my focus on a number of sites and learned a lot about building small niche web properties.

The one thing I’ve discovered is you can make money with niche sites in a number of ways:

  • Information based affiliate products
  • Amazon physical products
  • Amazon Kindle books
  • Google Adsense
  • Product Launch Jacking
  • Cost-Per-Action

The end result is I’ve decided to branch out and build a whole series of niche sites – Each focusing on different income models.  (I promise to provide specific examples in the next update.)

Now the MAJOR obstacle to building niche sites is search engine optimization (SEO.)  Frankly, it can take a long time to build links and get your niche site ranked in search engines.  Sometimes it seems like I’ll spend an entire day doing one thing for a single site. [click to continue…]

Amazon Kindle LogoRecently, I heard a great quote:

“Amazon.com is teaching people to buy a lot of little things.”

This is a great statement because it emphasizes how we’re witnessing the death throes of the traditional eBook. With Kindle books, Amazon.com provides people with instant access to downloadable information. So it’s getting harder and harder to charge premium prices for eBooks.

At first, I was disturbed by this emerging trend. But now I realize there is a completely untapped market for anyone to make money with Amazon Kindle books.

Two weeks ago, I jumped into the Kindle market with my book: How to Make Extra Money Fast on Your Computer: 55 Legitimate Ideas for Making Money from Home that Work in 2012

What I discovered is it’s really easy to make a Kindle book. The trick is to do it in a way that leads to long-term income. In this post, I’ll go over my experiences with publishing on Amazon. Plus I’ll detail a few strategies I’m personally implementing that will (hopefully) maximize the income potential from this business model… [click to continue…]

One of the “tricks” I like to use is to recycle existing web content.

Do this and you can reach a wider audience with a minimal amount of work.

A great way to do this is to use the system Peggy talks about in this guest post…

Steve admits to being a little lazy. That is, he’s lazy about writing more and more articles when he can leverage the first one in so many ways. He makes a good case for working smarter, not harder.

So I thought I’d show you the path an article can take, in its different forms, and how many eyeballs could potentially see it. And since I want you to “see” what I’m talking about, I’m going to put up an Easy Article Starter (the beginnings of an article, more like an outline) here as an example to work from. Ready? Real quick today…

Late last night, I put the finishing touches on my first Kindle book on Amazon.com.

It’s called:

How to Make Extra Money Fast on Your Computer: 55 Legitimate Ideas for Making Money from Home that Work in 2012

This is a collection of strategies that anyone can use to generate additional income.  Some take a few weeks to make money.  Others require a time investment of a few months. [click to continue…]

It’s time for the 5th edition of the Traffic and Conversion series!

In this monthly report, I list the exact strategies I use to increase traffic to this blog {and other websites.}

Today I’m going to detail a specific technique I used to generate 5293 monthly visitors from Twitter.

The best part?  I did this by only spending an hour (in the last month) on this social media site.

Some people might *disagree* with this strategy.  But I’ve found this is the best way to maximize your Twitter results.

Now before we jump in this month’s topic, let’s go over the current statistics:
