[title color=”green-vibrant” align=”scmgccenter” font=”verdana” style=”normal” size=”scmgc-2em”]Two Important Announcements[/title]
Before you grab these books, I have two important announcements:
First, sometimes Amazon doesn’t drop the price to $.99 (or the equivalent) in some countries or areas. Unfortunately, there’s little I can do to fix this issue on my end. But if you can’t find the $.99 deal on your Amazon interface, please send me an email: stevescottsite[at]gmail[dot]com and I’ll find a way to hook you up with a book.
Second, on Thursday I’m launching my latest title, Outsourcing Mastery for $.99 (Here is a snapshot of the cover). Unlike other new books, I’m not going to use the free KDP Select promotion. There are many reasons why I’ve decided to do this. Primarily, I’ve seen a lot of diminishing returns on the “free-to-launch” strategy lately, so I want to test a book at $.99 and see what happens.
Does that mean I’m no longer giving away free Kindle books? No at all. I’ll still use both free and $.99. But I also think it’s important to always test things and try different marketing strategies.
Well, if you’re interested in learning more about Kindle publishing, then grab these three books for $.99 apiece. And I’ll talk to you again on Thursday.
Take Action. Get Results.
Love to know more about Kindle and how to make it pay.
Good to hear! These books basically outline everything I know about the topic of Kindle publishing, but I’m also currently testing different things to expand my reach. Will post more in the future.
Great news for us as we are regular readers of your books either it is free or paid version . thank you sir
Really smart information you shared here Steve.
Thanks Justice — Kinda reminds me that I *might* have another book related to Kindle publishing, just have to find the right angle.
Hi Scott,
I missed last week promo, can you run it again? The books I wanted to buy were part of that package…I’m not yet at the level of publishing kindle books!
Thanks for your understanding.
Is it alright if you send these to me via email in PDF format if it is too much hassle do not worry and we can work out payment with paypal. I tried uk cloud reader but it doesnt seem to work only the us version seems to be working at the moment.
Just got your email, will respond back in a few minutes.
Need to learn more aout this knidle
Hey Steve, great Promo, is was something I was thinking about recently, doing a 0.99 special iso a free one. That would get you up in the paid rankings wouldn’t it?
Also as an aside, I was working through your 61 Strategies book and noticed that since the last Kindle App update on the iPad, the external links no longer work. A pop-up says ‘this feature is not currently supported’ WTF??? I just tested my own (first) book and the external links all work…. What do you think is up with that?
Yes Maggie, from what I understand, doing a $.99 promotion can help you rise up the paid charts. However, I’m not 100% sure about the long-term impact this will have on my business…so I’ll have to wait a month or so for that answer.
Thanks for the heads up about iPad. I’ll have to check it out on my own when I get back to that place. If that’s true, that’s a crappy thing for Amazon (or Apple) to do to their customers. Are you seeing this on other books as well?
Thanks for the promo man, just purchased all three and also had purchased all four from last weeks promo.
and look forward to future promos and more books from you.
love your “My Blog Traffic Sucks! 8 Simple Steps to Get 100,000 Blog Visitors without Working 8 Days a Week ”
Learnt a lot from you. Thanks

Chetan — Thanks for the purchases and support. Glad you’re getting use from the books. Please let me know if there’s any way I can help out.
Thanks for running your promos. I’ve learned so much about Internet marketing from your ebooks. I just finished a free report that I’ll be using to build a list. Next month, I want to get started on my first Kindle book. I bought the Nonfiction Ebook in 21 Days book. Look forward to an update on my progress as I follow your blueprint! 🙂
Congrats on finishing your free report — that’s a HUGE step to building a list. (Most people don’t take the time to put together this type of document.) Also, good luck with your first book, it’s another major milestone. Please keep me posted on how it goes.
Hi Steve
Just bought the third of your book offer. Looking forward to reading it. The other two books have really helped me set a schedule to ‘re-start’ list building in earnest. I am working on a new free report.
The books now sit at my elbow as I work. I can easily scan the content and refer to the array of tools you have provided.
I shall be back for more at your sites.
Best,
Michael
Interesting post. What’s the average number of books you can sell @ the 99 cent price point versus the typical E-book price of $9.99?
Hi Steve, this is my first visit to your site. Thanks for the discounts and giveaways. I will stop by and check out more in the next few days. I am launching my first affiliate site in a niche and I have to admit, I am a little scared that all the hard work I’ve put in might not pay off. I picked something I really do love and have done all the research, etc. Anyway, I am sure it will be fine, but I am a little nervous. Gonna pick up the first $1,000 book. Thanks for the offerings and the cool site!
