After a lot of thinking, I’ve decided to put my “teaching self-publishing” business (including the Self-Publishing Questions show) on a hiatus…perhaps a permanent one.
There are many reasons for this decision, but primarily I need more time to focus on running my self-publishing business instead of simply talking about it. Here is the final episode that explains things better.
If you’d like to learn more about self-publishing, here are a few resources I recommend:
#1. Pat Flynn’s Kindle Publishing Facebook Group
I’m still a moderator of Pat Flynn’s Facebook group, which currently has 11,000+ members. This is a great group where people talk about all things self-publishing. Here you can ask questions, learn valuable lessons from others and generally help one another out.
#2. My Favorite Podcasts on Self-Publishing
The way that I learned about self-publishing was to listen to podcasts and to immediately apply the information. I didn’t pay for an overpriced information product. Instead I simply took action on the FREE advice provided by the following shows:
- Self Publishing Podcast
- The Creative Penn Podcast
- Sell More Books Show
- The Rocking Self Publishing Podcast
- Write 2B Read Podcast
- Publishing Profits Podcast
Final Thoughts…
I do want to thank you for the time you’ve invested into this blog and the podcast. This was a very hard decision to make, especially since I know the show was helping so many people.
But before you go, I do encourage you to check out the archives where I’ve detailed everything that I know about self-publishing. There is a lot of actionable content on this page. So be sure to go through the past episodes, check out the show notes and take action.
I wish you the best of luck and hope to talk to you soon.
