How to Put an Image on ALL Your Blog Comments

I was asked this question the other day, so I decided to dedicate a blog post to it…

The question was “How do I put an image next to my remarks whenever I post on someone’s blog?”

Fortunately I have an answer to that one.  All you need to do is set up a free account with the Gravatar website.

This site is pretty simple to use.  Just create your account and upload an image. Then if you use the same name, URL, and email address; Gravatar will automatically place this image next to your blog comment.

Now I’ve only used this on Word Press blogs, so I’m not sure how it operates with other platforms.  That means you’ll have to test this one out if you’re commenting on a site that uses something besides Word Press.

Finally, I found a short tutorial on YouTube that goes into how Gravatar works:

If you use something besides Gravatar, I’d like to hear about it.  Feel free to include a description and the URL in the comment section.

Take Action. Get Results.

  1. Hi Steve,

I really like the tips for beginners. I find them really helpful. Sometimes it’s hard to ask questions when it seems like everyone else already has the answers.

    Thanks again.

    • Thanks Jazz! I have a question to ask… Are there any topics you want specifically covered? Like I said, sometimes it’s hard to see what would be really useful for people to learn…
