I can admit when something is not working. For the last few months, I’ve included a series of videos each Friday that focus on weight lifting and physical fitness. My idea was to give “light” content on a day where people traditionally like to take it easy.
The problem is I’ve gotten very little response from the videos I’m posting. And after three months of little to no response, I’ve come to realize that these videos aren’t resonating with the regular visitors to this site.
That’s why I’ve decided to change formats. I still want to include a regular video series on Fridays, but I’m not sure what people want.
And here’s where I need YOUR help. Could you please take a few minutes and…

My idea is to focus on ONE area of the many themes of this site. That way people will come to expect a certain type of lesson each and every Friday. Unfortunately, I don’t know what people want.
So could you answer this simple question for me: Which type of video would you prefer to see?
- Internet marketing/online business tutorials
- Lifestyle design/life planning/inspirational videos
- Personal development and self-growth information
Like I said, I want to have a running theme for my videos. But I’m not sure what would be the most helpful to you. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below…

Internet marketing/online business tutorials would be my vote. Most interesting stuff to me, but I may not be in the majority of your readership 🙂

I vote for internet marketing / online business tutorials as well since, well, it’s definitely a skill I’m lacking in right now lol.
Anyway, in terms of your current series of videos, from my experience these days, people want more holistic or applicable advice in terms of physical fitness and exercises. What I personally feel is that your video series is too bodybuilder focused (in terms of isolating various muscle groups and such).
What I mean by “more holistic” would be something like how to increase your metabolism (which would have a circuit training video), how to increase your energy throughout the day (which would have a video of running early in the morning with various tips for do’s and dont’s), or how to relieve back pain (which would have various strangthening and flexibilty exercises for the lower back)
What I mean by “more applicable” is in terms of a specific physical activity, like “how to throw a quicker fast ball” or “how to increase running speed”, so you’d have vidoes of exercises relating to these activities.

Actually, you’re absolutely right. One of the reasons I think the videos didn’t work because they weren’t the kind of information that most of my readers would actually use. For now, I’m thinking of doing the Internet Marketing thing then maybe in the future, use what you just recommended.
