Wow, great lesson Steve. I haven’t been following all of your weekly lesson but, they do sound very informational. I am finally starting to see some real traffic to my blog and I am working on ways to convert that traffic into money. Thanks for this lesson, very helpful. 🙂
Mandeep,
I am glad you are getting some useful information out of the series. 🙂 Turning traffic into money is quite a tricky thing for a blog. Still kinda working on that myself. All of my “experience” comes from well before I had a blog and still making a go of blogging itself. I look forward to hearing how it goes for you.
great post, I just stumbled upon your coursing series. I read a few of your posts before, but somehow I managed to skip this course. Really great info, I will have to read the previous 12, who knows, I might find out something I don’t know, as I see from this post you explain in detail which is great.
keep it up 🙂
For someone “experienced” there might not be a ton of new information for you. But I do try to get pretty indeptt and cover all the bases that I can think of for cradle to grave for an ebook or infoproduct.
At least I hope I get pretty in depth at 13 posts and counting…lol.
Maybe you can find something good or at least reinforce stuff you know. Anyway thanks for the kind comment and I hope you do enjoy the series if you get the time to check it out. 🙂
Hi Steve:
Read your Info Income Coaching. A informative post. I liked two very specific points here . #2 where you are describing to make a spread sheet and then create an email marketing campaign to recruit more affiliates is awesome way of list building and growing your business. I loved it and it can be used for a longer period of time, if this spread sheet is maintained all the time.
Another feature that felt extraordinaryis to contact newbie affiliates. That is very important to do. It will work much faster than anything else in this regard. But then I always thought where to find newbies?
So, I am always learning something or the other here every day. Can you believe that learning something new every day from your blog. That is a great compliment to your blog.
Thank you
Fran Aslam
I am all about list building. Ultimately you want all of your list buiding and management done by an email service like Aweber. (my main affiliate marketing list is over 65k customers..would be hard to spreadsheet that)
But when starting out specifically and dealing with other affiliates and “gurus” around your niche the personal touch is essential. I still get and send emails with people that I worked with years before. Even though I can sometimes be bad at the “Email” thing.
I am really glad that your are learning good stuff here Fran. It warms my heart to hear that people find the stuff useful. Thanks 🙂
Steve, this is really useful stuff here. I have been doing some affiliate marketing and marketing my own stuff, with mixed success.
Generating an online income for my business is one of my major goals and I’ve found a tonne of really helpful advice in these last couple of weeks.
I’ve come to this series late and I need to go back and read all your other stuff.
Which I guess is going to form a future information product!? 🙂
