Long Tail Keyword Research Using Google Adwords

A few weeks back, I showed a video about how to do niche keyword research using the Google Adwords tool. In this post, we discussed how this free tool is one of the best ways to find highly profitable niches.

Today, I want to add to what I discussed. Specifically, I want to discuss the idea of “long-tail keywords.” These are keyword phrases usually three to five words in length. They are important because it shows the exact problem that a searcher is looking to fix.

Targeting long-tail keywords can be extremely profitable because you know what type of information they’re seeking. There is no guesswork involved. All you have to do is identify the problem. Then present a solution. As long as you have a product that fixes it, you don’t need to be the best sales person to make money.
