Greetings from Sevilla, Spain! Finished with a bit of site seeing, so wanted to bring you another edition of Steve’s Sunday Selections and quickly cover some of the better blog posts that I’ve just read…
My dad recommended I check out Karol’s blog and I’m really glad I followed his advice. In this article, he talks about how to hit “home run” in 100% of what you try. It’s a great article, from a site that’s filled some awesome posts. Highly recommended!
How do you save money on traveling? Well, take a look at Chris’s post about the “volcano ash edition” of travel hacking. This post adds to a lot of the information you can find in his paid eBook. This is something I purchased before I left and I have to say it’s got some great information in it.
You probably have read a number of posts about my belief in the 80/20 rule. So it’s no surprise that I found Clay’s video about the “stay put rule” to build up a successful business. This is part of his 2% Internet Marketing series which breaks down the little, but ultra important things you can do to create a winning Internet Marketing business.
Celestine has an excellent guest post about 6 ways to handle negative feedback. When you run an online business, it’s only natural to have people give you unsolicited advice. Most of it’s good, but once in awhile you get told that you’re doing something wrong. I like this article because it gives you a bunch of tips for handling constructive criticism.
Want to find an example of people who treat their blogs with passion? If so, take a look at David’s top 10 list of people who are “crushing it.” What’s funny is he lists a number of blogs that I personally follow. Check out this post, and all the blogs that he discusses.
When it comes to this site, I’ve been pretty lazy when it comes to promotion. But with that said, I’m going to spend the next weeks creating a solid marketing plan. So that’s why I thoroughly enjoyed Maren’s post about how to create a “come hither” marketing plan.
Mike’s post about using current events to generate web traffic was extremely helpful. This is something that I’ve been thinking about doing. And if I do, then I’m definitely going to implement the techniques that he discusses.
Tom has an excellent guest post about 9 time management tips to increase your productivity. I definitely recommend you implement the techniques he discusses. I personally use a lot of theme and they’ve helped manage my work time in a very productive manner.
Well that’s it for this week! I definitely recommend you check all these articles and support these sites through Tweets, blog comments, and submitting to sites like Digg. They work hard to provide content…so show them some love!
Take Action. Get Results.
Hey Steve!
Glad you were into that article! Thank your Dad for me. 🙂
