Hello from Lagos, Portugal. It’s Sunday, so here’s another edition of Steve’s Sunday Selections. Here are some of the better blog posts that I found today…
Most three-year-olds think that the entire world revolves around them. After all, it seems that way because Mommy gives them a cookie if they want one, and they get to watch Elmo on TV all day long just because it’s their favorite show.
Who cares what anyone else wants to see, right? Elmo is better. That’s just how it works. This behavior is excusable because they’re children. They simply don’t know any better.
Teenagers are actually another good example. They should know better, but they still expect things from their parents because … well, their friends all have the coolest new phones and computers and clothes and cars, so they should have it all, too … right?
It always amazes me to hear people talking about wanting to be rich (or successful). What’s interesting is when you ask them the reason why, they usually can’t come up with what they actually would do if they had lots of money.
Does the Law of Attraction Work?
There are millions of people in this world who have read ‘The Secret’.
And now sit silently waiting on their dreams to come true, because the law of attraction said it would.
They remain in their same mindset, stuck in negativity.
(This is a quick introduction to the concept of how to create a life plan. If you’re interested in this topic, then you can read more in the free report called “Life Plan Mastery” which is available on the top right part of this page.)
Have you ever noticed that most of us go through our lives wanting? It almost seems like we care more about the things we want to happen in the future than we care about the present.
I’m writing this post in a bar on South Beach, Miami; watching Manchester United play Munich in the UEFA Champions League. So I feel it’s only natural to give another update on my long term travel plans.
In the last few weeks, a lot has happened in regards to my trip. There’s not much time left and there are many things I have to get done.
Here are a few things that have happened…
When it comes to stress, most people live in such a constant state of it, that they rarely acknowledge the pressure it puts on their lives or bodies.
However, place a ‘eu’ in front of the word stress and you suddenly have a powerful word that pushes you towards a better life.
Let’s begin with a definition…
One of my new favorite quotes comes from the recent movie Zombieland. When about to kill a few zombies, the character Tallahassee says “It’s time to nut up or shut up.”
Right now I’m going to make the same proclamation. Rather than talk about lifestyle design, I’m going to take those first steps towards proving it can be done.
Here’s a quick warning…If for some reason we find ourselves in the same gym working out and you see me on a treadmill, don’t get on the one next to me. If you do, you’ll probably be covered in my sweat after about 10 minutes.
Yes, I know it’s disgusting. Seriously, I sweat like a maniac when exercising—especially when I’m running.
Don’t believe me? Well, here’s what I looked like today after a leisurely five mile run. If you look carefully, you’ll notice I only have one small dry part on my sweaty-ass shirt.
Time for another edition of Steve’s Sunday Selections! Like always, it’s a little hard to pick which ones to put on here. There’s been a ton of great information across the blogosphere. And here some of the best ones I’ve found:
In 2007 a movie called “The Bucket List” hit the theaters.
Welcome to another edition of Steve’s Sunday Selections. There has been a lot of great content written this week, so it was pretty hard to decide which ones to select. With that said, here are a few of the many quality posts that I’ve found on my favorite blogs:
