How Much “Luggage” Can You Carry?

The topic of this post has been on been on my mind lately. Also, I have to give credit to my new friend Adriana who gave me the idea for this title…

I did a lot of research while planning my trip to Europe. Those photographs of famous landmarks on travel websites had me oohing and ahhing just as much as you’d expect they would.

Can A Relationship Make The Difference?

Here’s another great post from David of the Social Masters site. A few weeks ago, he posted an excellent article on having a personal cheerleader and I think I managed to talk him into a regular spot on this site. So if you like his article, PLEASE comment below and let him know. Anyway, let’s hear what David has to say this time…

My good pal and Social Masters partner in crime, Mr Preston Blain, made an excellent point the other day regarding the connection between being able to get into a relationship and success in the rest of your life.

When Preston was around 16, the sort of time when you start meeting girls, he started suffering with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). So instead of going out and meeting women, he was stuck at home washing his hands repeatedly.

You Are NOT Special

Most three-year-olds think that the entire world revolves around them. After all, it seems that way because Mommy gives them a cookie if they want one, and they get to watch Elmo on TV all day long just because it’s their favorite show.

Who cares what anyone else wants to see, right? Elmo is better. That’s just how it works. This behavior is excusable because they’re children. They simply don’t know any better.

Teenagers are actually another good example. They should know better, but they still expect things from their parents because … well, their friends all have the coolest new phones and computers and clothes and cars, so they should have it all, too … right?

Building Up Your Street Cred

One of the main topics of this site has always been lifestyle design and figuring out what you need to do in order to achieve your dreams.

Today we have a special guest post brought to you by David Black of the Social Masters. (If you’re a single guy looking to improve your dating success, then I highly recommend you take a look at David’s site. Anyway in this post, David talks about the value of having that one special person cheering you on. So take it away David…

Hey guys David Black here from Social Masters. My man Steve has shown enough trust in me to let me post an article on his great blog. Hope you enjoy. I would say at least 99% of articles written about success are all about how you as an individual should be. Such words as dedication, discipline, endeavor, desire, never die attitude. All hugely important things but a lot of people seem to overlook one other key aspect to success.

30DSHS- Success Through Developing a Positive Mental Attitude

It’s time for the 4th installment of the 30 Day Success Habits Series. (A monthly column where I discuss the habits that I’m trying to develop for the next 30 days)

Like I said in a post last week, I had trouble with developing the success habits for the month of March. To be honest, I think this has a lot to do with my upcoming trip and the preparations I have to do for my travels.

Make Money Now By Doing What You Love

The internet is definitely my favorite resource for research and learning, but I’ve been reading something that I’ve started recommending to anyone who will listen. The book I’ve discovered– Crush It: Why NOW Is the Time to Cash in on Your Passion by Gary Vaynerchuk– offers some pretty simple, straightforward advice about how to get what you really want out of life.

Accept 100% Responsibility For Your Life

I’m not one to gossip about others, but today I wanted to talk about girl I once dated. For the sake of anonymity, we’ll call her Chloe.

The reason I’m going to talk about her today is because she’s a perfect example of someone who doesn’t take 100% responsibility in her life. Let me explain…
